I can imagine being in a job where you are constantly getting push notifications about deadlines, calls, alerts, etc. But I’d like to think if I was ever stuck in a meeting, someone would be kind enough to just hand me a piece of paper with my name and cell phone number on it. I know I wouldn’t be able to focus on my work if I had to look at a piece of paper with my name and phone number every time I got a notification.

I think I have to agree with this. I like the idea that if anyone gets a phone call, they can just answer it, and it’s only their name that they have to look up. That way, the person calling can be the person in the meeting that needs to be aware of the meeting in the first place.

Its a good idea to keep your phone number and your name handy in case you get a phone call. Having both handy is important because the number of calls you get can be related to the importance of your business. For example, if your company name is “Ventura Oil & Gas”, then you will probably get a lot of calls from people wanting to know if you are a registered agent in the state, and what the oil and gas industry is.
