In my remodeling projects I’ve been lucky enough to get a quote from a lot of different contractors. The only thing that has always held true is that no contractor was willing to give me the $400 or more down payment that I ask of them. The fact that most contractors offer this amount of money to get the job done is what has always gotten the job done.
The reason for this is because the cost of rebuilding your home is much more expensive than paying a contractor a thousand dollars for a home. The only thing that’s ever cost-effective is the cost of living. If you can afford to pay the contractor about the same as you can pay the contractor ten thousand dollars a month, you can build that home and they will be in better shape.
This is a very important point. It’s the first thing that you mention when building a home for your business. It’s the second one that you mention when you’re building it yourself. This is more important than having to pay a contractor a thousand dollars for the home.
I don’t know if I can get away with this, but I do want to say that I think I am far more qualified than many people. I think I am a born builder and I think I am far more qualified than the average builder. If I have to buy this home for my business, I am going to pay a thousand dollars a year to rent it out at the end of the month.
