I am a big believer in the idea that robots will eventually replace humans when they get to that level. Robots are more intelligent than humans, faster (and cheaper), and more capable of doing basic tasks. Once robots achieve a certain level of intelligence similar to that of a toddler, they will no longer need to take care of humans, and will begin to work more like robots. I believe robots will go a very long way before that day ever happens.
I also believe that as robots become more intelligent, they will begin to take on the traits of both people and animals, especially in the area of language development. The only way we’ll ever get robots that are truly truly self-aware is if we make them aware of their emotions, personality, and desires. This is something we can’t do with humans, which is why humans will always be the first priority for robots.
With a robotic civilization, it’s possible we will have the ability to create robots that are aware of their own emotions, desires, personality, and emotions of the people around them. One such robot is the “robot structural analysis 2021” that’s shown in the trailer. This robot was designed as a study subject to be used in a robotics university where it could learn about itself and others through the way it interacts with its surroundings.
