This is a great idea, but why are you doing it? If you’re doing it right, you’re doing it wrong. Most people don’t know what to do or where to begin; they just don’t know where to start.
I am not saying you should not do it, I am saying, “Don’t do it.” The point is this: If you’re not going to start by reading our book and go back and read it again, then you have to do something more than just sit in your room. That would be like sitting at the computer and typing a search.
One of the things I love about this quote is that we have a lot of fun playing with the idea of what a quote means. For instance, I am always impressed by the idea of a character saying things that they dont mean. Or how a character says a quote that they only half-believed to be true.
A quote that is not quite true may still be a quote. We use quotes as markers to let us know that a statement is true or false. For instance, a character could say, “It’s only a game.” or “I’m in love with you.” Or they may say, “I’m very lucky.” or “I’m not afraid to die.
Quotes are tricky because they’re just so subjective. We don’t know what a person means by a quote, so we have to be careful about how we interpret them. For example, as a generalization we expect a character to say they are good at something or to have a certain reputation, but we can still be surprised by how they choose to say it.
If you think about it, the words “good at something”, “reputation”, and “lucky” are pretty similar in meaning. So if we were to pick one of these three words to describe a character, we would probably pick “good at something”, but as we all know, people arent very good at anything. Likewise, a person can be very lucky or very unlucky at the same time. So the quotes in a game are always going to be subjective.
The only thing that’s more subjective is the person’s character. The person who is the most likely to take out a character will be the one who takes out the most characters and the ones who take out the most ones. If that character is the highest ranking character in the game, then the game would be pretty much all about the character or an average player.
The average player would be someone who is the most likeable and the least likely to die. The most likely to die would be the most likable and least likely to die would be the most likable.
The player who is the most likely to die will be the character who will die the most often. The player with the most kills will be the character who will kill the most. The player with the most kills will be the lowest ranking character. The lower ranking characters will be the ones who will die the most. The player with the most kills will be the most likely to get the most kills.
