Instagram has changed so much, and it’s not always easy to keep up with all those changes. In fact, it can be hard even to keep up with all of them. In this article, I’ll cover some of the ways to get an Instagram bio that includes your location.
The two big ways to do this are the “Share your location” and “Share your location with hashtags.” I personally prefer the latter, but it’s really just a matter of finding a service that can automatically pull up your location. I use it all the time myself. I also like to include a location in my profile picture, so that I can share it from all my Instagrams (and Facebooks, and other social media outlets) automatically.
If you’re going to include a location in your Instagram bio, be sure to include it with at least 50% of your posts. A simple rule of thumb is to include it in 10% of your posts. If you find yourself using it more than that, you’re probably doing something wrong. I don’t think there’s a hard number you should try and hit to get the most out of Instagram, but 50% should be enough.
In my opinion, location on Instagram is a pretty major detail to include in your bio, but you can’t avoid it. The reason why is that location is so important on Instagram. And as a general rule, if you don’t put your location in your profile picture, you’ll be able to find that location and take it all down. So make your Instagram bio as personal and as comprehensive as you can make it.
If you’re going to put your location in your Instagram profile pic, then at least make it as detailed as possible. You can include your current location, a short description of what you’re doing, pictures, and links to places you’ve been. If you’re going to put your whole life in your Instagram bio, then include it in a more detailed way.
The most likely way to put a location in Instagram bio is to have your Instagram bio put up in the top right hand corner of your profile. The more detailed you put the more the photos will go out to users, which will give you a chance to figure out how to find the location of that person. If you’re going to put them in your profile photo, then you’ll need to have them in your Facebook profile.
With Instagram, you don’t even have to link to your Facebook profile to link to your Instagram profile. Your Instagram bio would definitely be enough, since that is the only place you can add location. (I can’t emphasize this enough.) Also, if you have a good photo, you can add a picture of a location in the lower right.
As it turns out, when you go to your Instagram bio, youll see multiple pictures of you standing in front of your Instagram photo. There is a strong correlation that youll find in Facebook pictures to the location of your Instagram bio.
I am of the opinion that if you want to put location in your Instagram bio, you should put it in the lower-right corner. After all, you have other things to do.
This has become a surprisingly common thing on Instagram. If I see a photo of me standing in front of my Instagram photo, I have a pretty good idea of where that photo was taken. Sometimes it’s in the exact same place, sometimes I’ve seen it from different angles, and sometimes I don’t even know the location. If you use a photo of yourself to put in your Instagram bio, you can be pretty sure you’ve been to the location before.
