I don’t mean on a typical car lot, but in my real world. If you’re a car dealer, you have to be able to sell cars. You have to be able to have a customer base, and you have to be honest with the buyer.
In our business and most other businesses, there are two things that we think of as important: Selling your product, and being honest with the customer. You can sell cars, but you cant be honest with the buyer. It’s more than just selling a car, you also need to be genuine and reliable.
The key reason selling a product can be a terrible idea is because its selling people to buy it and not the buyer to buy it. You can sell cars and then sell people to get them to buy it, but you cant be honest with the buyer. It’s the buyer who pays the price.
If you sell your product at the wrong price, you are selling out the customer and not the product. If your company is out of stock and you need to get it back in the next day, you are selling out the customer. You can be honest and let your customers know that they can buy the product at another store, but you cannot be honest and be able to get them back in the next day.
This applies to all sorts of things but especially to selling to customers. Companies that have an overabundance of inventory are likely to be out-in-stock to a customer. Or, a company that sells a product to a customer that is out of stock is likely to be out-of-stock to the customer. A company that is selling to a customer that is out of stock is likely to be out-of-stock for the customer.
This is not all bad. Most people are not dishonest about their inventory but it can be harder to spot when you are. You will get caught if you are caught cheating and you will get thrown off the back-end. This is especially true when it comes to dealing with suppliers. A supplier is not necessarily the same as a vendor. A supplier is someone who buys a good from you, ships it to you, and keeps it.
In the end, the buyer won’t get caught if he does not get caught. It’s like a lost cause. You can’t just do what a vendor does because it’s not your fault, you can’t do what a customer does because everyone makes mistakes. You can’t just make up your own mind in the right ways.
That’s not to say you cant just get it from someone that you know. But its just not worth the hassle.
The dealer is someone who buys and ships something to you. For example, if you buy a guitar from a dealer, and then later you play it and the dealer ships it to you, then you are a dealer. The same is true for a video game, a book, a piece of software, any kind of product you get from a person. Dealerships are not necessarily the same as vendors.
Dealerships are the person who makes the product available for you to buy. Vendors are the person who sells the product to you. A dealer can be a person who is selling you a product you don’t want (such as video games), or it can be one of a person who is selling you a product you do want (like a guitar, video game, or piece of software). I’d say the main difference is who owns the product and who makes the product available to you.
