That can be a scary proposition, and it’s definitely not one that I’m comfortable with. We all are aware that meaning is important, but is it really that important? What we mean by the words “meaning” is what we mean, not the other way around. I’ve been using the definition by Dr. Dean Radin as a guide to my everyday self-awareness.
Meaning is the glue that holds us together. What we mean often has a lot to do with other things that we ourselves want to do. That may be a physical thing like getting a new shirt, or it can be about getting a new job, or even getting married. It could be something else like having fun with a friend, or even having an important conversation.
Meaning is something that we put into words, so when we use the word “meaning” we’re talking about something different when we say it. Meaning is a process, something that happens over time, something that we use to make it easier for us to talk about difficult things.
Meaning can be used as a tool, a means to an end, or a tool to an end. It can be something that we choose to create, or it can be something that we create for ourselves.
Meaning is a process that we, like people are often told, should avoid, with the possible exception of the word “meaningless,” because “meaning” is really hard to stop.
The more meaning we create for ourselves, the better it becomes for us, and the better it becomes for all of creation. So the best use of meaning that I’ve seen is to put meaning into something that already exists. In my opinion, that is a very good use of meaning.
As an example, I made the point above in my last blog entry. It’s not just that meaning is incredibly hard to stop. You see, our minds have infinite possibilities. Meaning is not just limited to words. It also can be as physical as a song or as metaphorical as a story or even a poem. The more meaning we are able to create for ourselves, the better it becomes for us, and the better it becomes for all of creation.
Meaning can be created by a person, a system, a philosophy, a religion, or even a nation. The problem is that the more meaning we create, the harder it is to stop. Meaning is the foundation of how we all think, the basis of how we come to understand ourselves and the world around us. As a child, the world was meaningless to me. By the time I got to college, I had the capability to create meaning in a more meaningful way.
Meaning can be created in many ways. The difference between a meaningful life and a meaningless one is that the meaningful life is a life lived with meaning. Meaning is something we can put into action in our everyday lives. Meaning is a thing that we can build and maintain. Meaning is something that you can create.
Meaning in life is a combination of a person’s personality, values, and beliefs. All these things form the meaning of a person’s life in a way that is individual and unique. Some people who struggle with meaning are driven by fear or a sense of inadequacy. They can lose their sense of purpose in life. Others need to believe that they are capable of something bigger than themselves.
