What is the difference between brand reps and PR reps? Brand reps are people who are in charge of creating a brand, a company that sells a product or service. PR reps are people who work tirelessly to get a brand to market.
When you have to deal with people who are in charge of the brand, you must understand their mindset and their history. Just like anybody else, you are going to learn a little about the person you’re dealing with. You’re going to learn about the company you’re dealing with (their past, their present, and their future) and you’re going to learn their values and their beliefs about the company.
It’s important to understand your customers, and the company you’re dealing with, from the very beginning. You need to understand them, and the company, and have the right to do business with them. Without understanding what you are doing, youre never going to know for sure if youre doing what you should or if youre doing what youre afraid of.
Brands are a lot like people. Brands have values, beliefs, morals, and theyre likely to share a lot of the same objectives. When a brand hires a brand rep, they are trying to get you to do what you think you should. A brand rep is trying to convince you that they have their own values and beliefs about why theyre doing what theyre doing and what their company is about.
A brand rep is typically a brand ambassador who wants to bring you into a brand’s inner circle. A brand rep will spend more time talking about their company to you then actually doing anything more than that. If a brand rep is a good brand rep then they will make sure that their brand is well represented. There are a few things a brand rep should not do.

A brand rep should not be in business for themselves, but for you.2. They should not be promoting products that they are in business for.
A brand rep is much like a business consultant. They should be helping you with your business and trying to get you to do more with what you already do. They should not be doing more than that.
Some of the more common things they should not do are getting you to promote products that they themselves don’t make, or trying to make you buy something they don’t make. They can help you by pointing out that you already have all these options in your stores, and they can tell you about their own products.
