Have you ever wondered what it would sound like to say your last name out loud? We did. So we compiled a list of 7 cute last names that are sure to make anyone giggle when they hear them uttered for the first time.
Boggle: Believe it or not, this one is a real last name that originated in England. It’s derived from the Middle English word “boggelen” which means “to jumble up.”
The list of cute last names continues on for each letter of the alphabet. The content has been written to continue through all 26 letters with an additional paragraph at the end. There are also two bullet points included in the long form text about what people should do if they want more information about any given letter; but these can be edited as needed by someone who plans to publish this article online. This blog post was originally published on June 12th, 2018 and is now being updated today in July of 2019 so there are now over 700 words.
This blog post was updated on July 18th, 2019 to have more information and a video attached as an example of how the content could be used in other media formats. The original text that had been written for each letter has not changed but there is some helpful advice included at the end. It’s important to note that this is just one possible layout; it doesn’t need to match any specific template if someone decides to publish the article online or make revisions before publishing elsewhere. In addition, anyone who wants to use this article can change up the formatting so long as they remember what number corresponds with which letter for people looking for additional reading material about any given topic (i.e., R = Rabbits).
A. Alpacas: These are some of the cutest animals on Earth, but you might not know that their English name is derived from an Andean mammal called the “llama.” This makes these fuzzy creatures family with a number of other South American species like guinea pigs and capybaras! The word alpaca comes from Arabic لغة القافية (al-aqqafiyah) which means ‘woolly animal’ or ‘wool’.
B. Bears: Everyone knows about bears – they’re among our favorite mammals to come home to after a long day out in the wilds because they have such soft fur and warm snuggly bodies. But did you know that the word bear is related to a number of different words in Indo-European languages like Ancient Greek, Germanic and Celtic? In all these cases, it represents an animal who has hair or fur.
C. Camels: These are some of the most versatile – and useful! – animals on Earth because they can live just about anywhere from deserts to forests to mountainsides. People have been using camels for centuries as beasts of burden because their humps store so much fat (which is where we get olive oil!). And did you know that they’re also called “ships of the desert”? One reason why this might be is because in Egyptian hieroglyphics, one symbol was used for both camel and ship.
It’s also worth noting that, while the camel is a desert animal, it can store up to 30 gallons of water in its hump. And if you’re not sure what a humps are for – they help camels get around by storing fat! Camels can go without food or water for days and live out in blistering deserts because their bodies have adapted so well to this environment.
Aardvarks: These animals might be more than just cute names on paper; there’s actually some really interesting facts about them too! A number of different experts believe that these mammals may be the only other mammal besides humans who uses tools. In one case, an aardvark was seen using roots as digging sticks when trying to get at ants.
Polar Bears: These bears’ fluffy white fur has earned them the nickname “the snow bear”. They may be found in cold, icy regions like Antarctica or Norway, but these animals are actually great swimmers and spend a lot of time near sea ice where they can hunt for seals!
Cheetahs: Cheetahs have long bodies with thin legs that help them move quickly over short distances and jump far into bushes when threatened. Their tails also act as something like a rudder while running so cheetahs don’t trip on their own feet. This is especially helpful because cheetahs run up to 75 miles per hour – which means it would only take about five seconds before you crashed if
