What’s in the box?
We have no idea what’s inside, but for now we’ll call it Zombie Names. This is a list of 100 zombie names to use and abuse as you please! From classic zombies like “Bub,” “Chuck” or “Evelyn” to more gory, modern ones such as “Kylie,” “Derek” or even “Pizza Face.” We’ve got them all here! Now go forth into the world with these spooky sounding monikers at your disposal and terrify everyone you meet!
The Mission: Our goal was simple – create a product that would help anyone who wasn’t sure about how they wanted to name their new baby when he/she arrives- something that would cover all bases and reflect the modern, diverse world that we live in. The Zombie Names List is designed to be a fun list of 100 zombie names for use when naming your new baby.
The Inspiration: We got our inspiration from one special person- George A Romero (1940 – 2017). His 1968 classic Night of the Living Dead changed horror films forever and set off an entire genre with its disparate zombies; it was important to us not only honor him but also include some nods to his legacy on this list! And so you’ll find monikers such as “Claudette,” “Fran” or even “Lori” which are all derivative homages to these iconic characters he created!
The Product: This list is the perfect mix of modern and diverse, with a nod to his legacy. We hope this list will be an inspirational tool for parents wanting to find their child’s name – and in honor of George A Romero who has touched so many lives!

In 1978, he created Dawn of the Dead (1978), but only after Night had been remade by Tom Savini just three years earlier.
In 1985, Romero directed Day of the Dead (1985).
In 2005, he created Land of the Dead. He also remade his own Night in 2010. His latest zombie film is Survival of the Dead which was released on April 21st 2009. This time, it stars Alan Van Sprang and Kenneth Welsh who star as brothers battling their way through a small group of people to find refuge from the undead hordes wreaking havoc all over North America. It’s both funny and frightening – just like any good horror flick should be!
