If you’re a Sailor Scout, it’s important to have an appropriate name. This is so that people know what they’re getting into before they join your team. If the wrong type of person joins your team, then they might go and do something that will make you look bad! In this blog post, I’ll give some tips on how to avoid giving yourself or someone else a sensational Sailor Scout name.
Avoid the following words: Sailor, Scout, Troublemaker, Rebel.
Instead of naming your group after something bad like “Sailor Rebels”, create a name that is positive or has some meaning to it instead. For example: The Sailors Who Save Lives! Or just call yourselves Sailor Scouts and people will know what they’re getting into before you’ve even explained anything about yourself!
Lesson Learned From an Expert’s Mistake – I once saw someone who called themselves “The Bad Guys” when creating their team on MeetMe. It seemed harmless at first but then one day all these other groups came out with names like “The Good Guys”. When she realized her mistake she felt really embarrassed because not only did she have to change the name of her group, but also all the other groups who were named after their opponents.
If you’re not sure how to come up with a good name then here are some words or phrases that make for great names: “Solar Sailors”, “Sailor Scouts and Friends”, “Team Sailor Scouts”.
Again, don’t use any numbers or bullet points in these sentences!

The most important thing to remember is that your group needs a name, and you’re going to want to make sure it isn’t too similar to other groups out there so that people know who you are when they hear about you. If you feel like coming up with a good name takes more time than what’s worth then here’s some words/phrases that might help: “Solar Sailors,” “Sailor Scouts,” “Salty Sailors,” “Seamen Soldiers.” Keep in mind that you don’t need to use the word Sailor, or even include it at all.

The Sins are as follows:
using generic words for nouns (like “angel”) when there’s a specific word that would fit better. The thing is, the more unique the names sound, the less likely they’ll show up on other websites about Sailor Scouts.
using too many words. This one’s tricky because you want to make the name sound cool and descriptive, but not so long that it gets difficult for readers to say or remember. Keep in mind your target audience: Sailor Scouts is a popular fandom with young adults, so avoid anything dated sounding like “The Supersonic Sisterhood of the Mystic Moon” (phew!)
copying another group’s names without giving credit/acknowledgement. If someone else created an awesome name and has shared it publicly on their blog or social media account then by all means use this! It’s only copyright infringement if you’re claiming your version as original content; otherwise feel free to tweak theirs into something new based off
The name of a Sailor Scout is one of the most important aspects to consider when naming your new character. If you’re anything like me, and come up with names on the fly, this can be a difficult task. Today we will explore what I believe are 13 sins that people make in regards to giving their sailor scouts an appropriate or sensationally-sounding name!
Sin 13: Giving them too many syllables
This sin is easily avoided by only making sure there are no more than two syllables for any given word (i.e., ‘Diane’). The exception here being if it’s French/Italian sounding? But even then keep it short – just don’t do something like ‘Francoise.’
Sin 12: Giving them a name that doesn’t start with the first letter of their last name
This sin is easily avoided by following this one rule. If your character’s last name begins with ‘A,’ then it should have an A in front of their given name (i.e., Abby, Amber). I know some people may not care about this but for those who do, you can avoid this issue altogether!
Both these sins are pretty self-explanatory and easy to fix so don’t worry too much if you’re guilty of doing either or both!!
It’s important to get names right when creating characters because they help solidify what type of person they are in readers’ minds. Don’t forget to put a space between each sentence! The formatting is off and I can’t read it. Is this your first post? If so, don’t worry about me being harsh until you get the hang of things; feel free to PM me if you need help with anything ^^ Here’s an example: Sin 12: Giving them a name that doesn’t start with the first letter of their last name This sin is easily avoided by following this one rule.
