The Goblin is one of the most well known and feared enemies to roam in Dungeons & Dragons, but sometimes they can be just as helpful as other races. They are a clever race that uses its tiny body for speed and agility. Goblins may not have any special abilities or spells, but they make up for it with their cunningness by attacking from across long distances.
Goblin names don’t sound too different than what we know of standard English: Gorbakk, Brikka Graggoffa, Horgar Finglendiroth.. But there are some more interesting ones out there such as Zibblerwarperzibplaceba! The first thing you notice when you’re reading these goblin names is that they have a lot of vowels. This means that the goblins enjoy making their words long and drawn out as if it were some kind of competition to see who can make the longest word with all the most letters possible.
It may seem like there are too many different ways to say “Too Long, Didn’t Read (TLDNR)” but let me assure you there are even more variations for goblin names! Some examples include: Zibblerwarperzibplaceba, Gribble Muggska Baalworcsaagulokaziggy Wutgromitronnukkurtikusugurgle!
The last thing to remember about goblin names is that they are all in the first person. This may seem like a small detail but it helps you learn more about them and even makes me feel as if their lives have purpose when I read one of these long, drawn out words. It’s almost as though each word is telling its own story from beginning to end which leaves no room for confusion or misinterpretation. One could say this sounds asinine but there’s nothing wrong with being a little narcissistic every now and then (I mean who doesn’t enjoy hearing themselves talk?)
So without further ado, here are some different goblin names: Gorbakk, Brikka Grag, Grork, and Sigrun.
Gorbakk is a goblin that likes to take long walks around the forest just to get away from his family for awhile.
Brikka Grag often takes trips of self discovery which typically include him getting lost in an unfamiliar place (which he then spends hours trying to find again). He also loves eating marshmallows with honey; so if you ever come across this little guy feel free to share some of these foods with him!
Grork really enjoys being by himself and will sometimes go hunting on his own just because he can’t stand having other goblins close by. However this doesn’t mean he’s antisocial as it would seem he actually has plenty of close friends and just enjoys the peace of his own company.
Sigrun is a bit more low-key than her other siblings and prefers to not stand out or be noticed in any way. When she does go on adventures though, they usually turn into hunting trips because she likes to show off what she can do with animals!

The last one, Sigrun, is the youngest in her family and she loves animals more than any other thing! When you meet this little girl be sure not to mention hunting as it’s something she takes really seriously because there are so many creatures out there who need help.
Another one, Gurzag Graglakk, is a goblin who believes that everything in life has an opposite and it’s important to be able to find the balance. A good example of this would be his opinion on work: some people can have too much but others might not get enough.
The last one I’ll share with you today (for now) is Grakbakka Groblokklefinkin- he loves standing on top of mountains and watching how things change over time! He thinks humans are pretty clever for being able to figure out all those tricks they use so successfully.
